You'll meet a lot of people from Kahului-Wailuku here. There's so much to do here at Mauoni that you need to camp here for a while, Hosmer Grove Campground is a fine place for that. Mauoni is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout January, and June on the other hand is the driest.       This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mauoni has to offer, you can camp at Camp Olowalu. Lakes are brilliant; Kanaha Pond is a lake that's close to Mauoni. Hobron Point is not far from Mauoni at all, and Lahaina Fil-Am Golf Club is a glorious golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Kahului Harbor has great water scenery and it's near Mauoni, and don't miss out on a visit to Haleakala National Park since you're                  here. Just can't get enough of Mauoni. If you need a place to stay Wailuku Guesthouse is a good choice, and a day at beautiful Kahului Beach next to Mauoni is a great thing to do. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mauoni, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 80's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Mauoni tend to be in the 60's.
