During the warm months at Luawai Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 80's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Luawai Reservoir temperatures sink to the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Kukuiolono       Golf, and if you get bored of Luawai Reservoir you could also visit close by Kumano Reservoir. On a gorgeous day you can visit Palama Beach near Luawai Reservoir, and Nihi Kai Villas is a splendid spot to get some rest. Not much rain falls here at Luawai Reservoir; most of the rain falls all through January; the driest month of the year is June. Lawai Stream flows through this vicinity, and there are plenty of folks from Kapaa here.
