If the weather is splendid here at Luawai Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail, and there are plenty of people from Kapaa here at Luawai Reservoir. Luawai Reservoir gets very little precipitation; through January this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.

in the great outdoors, just come on down to Luawai Reservoir. Don't forget to take a delightful little spree to Lawai Stream, and you are right next door to Ka Lae o Kaiwa while you're here. Kaupale Reservoir is a perfect lake in
the neighborhood of Luawai Reservoir, and the Alakai Swamp Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Nmilu Cone is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Luawai Reservoir, and a wonderful close by hotel is Poipu Kai Resort.
For the period of the warm days of summer at Luawai Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 80's with temperatures at Luawai Reservoir
dipping down into the 60's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Nihi Kai Villas is a tremendous location to get some rest, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Palama Beach.
