The vista of lovely Mauna Kuwale near Lualualei Reservoir is great; don't leave Lualualei Reservoir without first       going for a hike along the Dupont Trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Lualualei Reservoir is peerless! After a long day outdoors Makaha Resort is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Kaupuni Stream. Throughout the summer at Lualualei Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 70's,                  and winter nights come with lows in the 50's to Lualualei Reservoir. An afternoon playing golf at Makaha Valley Country Club is always a joy, and Mailiili Beach is a lovely beach to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Honouliuli Contour Trail.
