    In Hawaii there are many beautiful lakes, Lokoea is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Haleiwa Army Beach is near Lokoea if you're in a beach type of mood, and do go to Anahulu River since you're here at Lokoea. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Maeaea is nearby, and after a long day outdoors Turtle Bay Resort is a magnificent location to spend a night or two.
A pleasant site to have a look at close to Lokoea is
 
   Kawailoa Gulch; the Mokuleia Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lokoea is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Mokuleia is a pleasant local campground; everybody loves Lauhulu. Not far from Lokoea, you'll locate Kaheaka Reservoir which is a scenic lake, and Makaha Resort is a great site to get some rest.
Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lokoea. Since you might
 
               be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Ukoa Pond; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Dupont Trail. From a rainfall point of view Lokoea is a relatively typical place; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here; June is the month with the least moisture. There is a delightful hiking trail near Lokoea called the Peacock Flat Trail, and camping at Camp Timberline is always a good experience.
Kaiaka Bay is around here and always glorious to stop by, and why not check out Haleiwa Boat Harbor if you're here. For the duration of the summertime at Lokoea highs are commonly in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 70's while Lokoea night low temperatures during the winter are in the 50's.
