Loko Paaiau is not far at all from Honolulu. There's so much to do here at Loko Paaiau that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Timberline is a great place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Loko Paaiau. A day at pretty Hickam Harbor Beach next to Loko Paaiau is a great thing to do, and golf can be played at Pearl Country Club. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Halawa       Trail, and a lake close by is Salt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kalauao Spring is an inspiring location to take a look at during your stay, and you can spend the day on the beach at Kai Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Loko Paaiau a wet site; most of the rain falls all through November, and August is when it's the driest. If you need a place to stay Ohana Honolulu Airport Hotel is a fine choice; a brilliant spot is Aiea Shoal.                  This lake is so wonderful. Loko Paaiau is right by the Summit Trail, and don't leave Loko Paaiau without first checking out Makalapa Crater. Aiea Stream is a good local stream; hiking along the Honouliuli Contour Trail is good fun. Throughout the days of summer here at Loko Paaiau, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 70's; overnight lows in the 60's for Loko Paaiau. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Loko Paaiau. Not far from Loko Paaiau you hit upon Aiea Bay.
