     Horner Reservoir is a great lake close to Loko Mokuhinia, and dry warm beds await you at Lahaina Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach near Loko Mokuhinia, we recommend Lahaina Beach, and some of the water nearby flows, like Kahoma Stream. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. From Loko Mokuhinia you get a nice vista of Puu Laina, and there are other places here than Loko Mokuhinia, for example Puukolii Reservoir. At Loko  
   Mokuhinia during the summertime highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 70's with temperatures at Loko Mokuhinia dipping down into the 50's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Loko Mokuhinia you'll meet some people from Kahului-Wailuku for sure, and Loko Mokuhinia is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Olowalu is a fine local campground.
 
               Do schedule some time to stop by Puunoa Point near Loko Mokuhinia if you have a chance, and a nice beach close by is Makila.
Loko Mokuhinia is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain while September is usually the driest month. If you need a location to stay The Plantation Inn is a great choice, and you don’t have to go far from Loko Mokuhinia to see the water at Lahaina Boat Harbor. Haleakala National Park is a nice site close to Loko Mokuhinia; no need to travel far to go to attention-grabbing stuff like Hauola Stone.
