    Loko Mokuhinia is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The high level of rainfall makes Loko Mokuhinia a quite wet place; January is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is September. Lahaina Inn is a delightful location to get some rest; Puukolii Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. Puunoa Point is rather next to Loko Mokuhinia, and if you're keen on cool geologic characteristics try Hauola Stone.

   the duration of the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Loko Mokuhinia. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Loko Mokuhinia descend into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Kahoma Stream, and if you get bored of Loko Mokuhinia you could also have a look  
               at close by Horner Reservoir.
Loko Mokuhinia is in the neighborhood of Lahaina Boat Harbor which is a beautiful spot certainly worth visiting, and Loko Mokuhinia is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Olowalu is a fine spot to camp nearby. A visit to Haleakala National Park is worthwhile, and beaches are good and Lahaina Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Plantation Inn, and at Loko Mokuhinia you can make out Puu Laina.
Be careful coming to Loko Mokuhinia, you might not ever want to go home again. One of the best things about Loko Mokuhinia is its proximity to Makila, and lots of folks from Kahului-Wailuku come here.
