Playing golf is lots of fun at Ala Wai Golf Course, and Ala Wai Boat Harbor is picturesque. Lily Pond gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is November while August is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Castle Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the summer highs here at Lily Pond get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the       60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 70's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lily Pond temperatures fall to the 60's. Any time is a great time at Lily Pond if you go for the outdoors. Near Lily Pond you discover splendid places like Makiki Valley; don't leave Lily Pond without first going for a hike along the Halawa Trail. Getting to Kanah Stream from Lily Pond is easy; if you need a spot to stay Pagoda Hotel is a delightful                  choice. A short journey to Booth Spring is always worthwhile, and Doubletree Alana Hotel Waikiki is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lily Pond, for example Alapena Pool, and a tour to Cresent Beach is always a good idea. This place is peerless, just check out all the exciting stuff to do near Lily Pond. Helumoa is a forest close to Lily Pond that you can go to, and Magic Island is not far at all. There's perfect hiking along the Summit Trail, and camping is available at Honolulu Koa Kampground. Punchbowl is an exciting site to explore while at Lily Pond; the wonderful folks of Honolulu like to hang out close by. If you want to hit the beach, Kahanamoku Beach is in the neighborhood, and here at Lily Pond you can observe Puu Kakea.
