Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Hoai Beach, and at Kumano Reservoir you always meet someone from Kapaa. If you're here at Kumano Reservoir, you could stop by Lawai Stream, and at Kumano Reservoir you can catch a sight of Manuhonuhonu. High temperatures at Kumano Reservoir throughout the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the       80's; night lows in the 60's for Kumano Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Alakai Swamp Trail, and if you need a place to stay Nihi Kai Villas is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Poipu Kai Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest; enjoy a round of golf at Kukuiolono Golf. Not much rain falls here at Kumano Reservoir; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June. If you come at the right time of year,                  Hanalei offers some magnificent whitewater, and there are tremendous sites to explore along the Mhihi Waialae Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Beach House Beach is in the vicinity of Kumano Reservoir if you're in a beach type of mood, and a striking lake like Aepo Reservoir is a good spot to stop at.
