This lake is so wonderful. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Koolau Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Ohana Honolulu Airport Hotel, and nearby you find the Summit Trail which is a good hiking trail. Koolau Reservoir is a relatively wet place mostly with a lot of rain; of all the months in a year       November is the one with the most rain; August on the other hand is the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Ku Tree Reservoir; going for a hike on the Kawailoa Trail is always a fine adventure. Koolau Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Honolulu Koa Kampground is a tremendous local campground. Lakes? Sure, East Pump Reservoir is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. There's so                  much to do here at Koolau Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Timberline is a tremendous location for that, and Tiki Moon Villas is a perfect location to get some rest. Throughout the months of summer at Koolau Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 70's, and overnight lows in the 60's for Koolau Reservoir.
