Koieie Fishpond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Koieie Fishpond is great! On a nice day it's a great idea to spend the day at Kalepolepo, and you can go for a hike on the Lower Trail. Koieie Fishpond commonly gets a great deal of rain; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here; September meanwhile is the driest month. | | Koieie Fishpond highs are commonly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 80's while the cold winter nights at Koieie Fishpond are in the 60's.

there are plenty of folks from Kahului-Wailuku; camping is available at Camp Olowalu.
A trip to Haleakala National Park is recommended; good hiking is available along the Sliding Sands Trail. Why not camp at Hosmer Grove Campground
since you're here at Koieie Fishpond, and you can hit the beach if you want, Kaipukaihina is practically right here. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Elleair Maui Golf Club not far from Koieie Fishpond; there's magnificent hiking along the Halemauu Trail.
