Go to Keehi Lagoon if you want to go to a nice lake. Camping at Keehi Lagoon is nice fun, Honolulu Koa Kampground is a nice local campground, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Halawa Trail. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Keehi Lagoon. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 70's; night lows in the 60's for Keehi Lagoon. Keehi Boat Harbor is beautiful and it's right next door to Keehi Lagoon; there are plenty of folks from Honolulu here. You truly have to go for Keehi Lagoon. If you're looking for a beach in close proximity to Keehi Lagoon, we recommend Hickam Harbor Beach; Pacific Marina Inn is a magnificent
place to get some rest. Keehi Lagoon is a pretty wet place usually with a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls all through November, and August is when it's the driest. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Keehi Lagoon Beach, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Kahauiki Stream.
