It's always fun to stop by Keanalele Waterhole. Why not visit Hou Point also while you're here, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Kukio Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Huehue Hualalai Trail is delightful fun; a great nearby hotel is Kona Village Resort. At Keanalele Waterhole through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Keanalele Waterhole is a location that is rather dehydrated typically; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month.
