    In Hawaii there are many beautiful lakes, Kawaihpai Reservoir is one of them. Kawaihpai Reservoir is a good spot of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Near Kawaihpai Reservoir you discover the Kelia Trail which is a great hiking trail; beaches are good and Kelia Beach is no exception. Stay the night at Camp Mokuleia,  
   and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Mokulia Beach.
If you need a location to stay Makaha Resort is a delightful choice, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Mokuleia Trail. A good nearby hotel is Jw Marriott Ihilani Resort And Spa At Ko Olina, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Makaha Valley Country Club is around here. Do schedule some time to pop by Kaiahulu near Kawaihpai Reservoir
 
               if you have a chance, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Peacock Flat Trail.
Just can't get enough of Kawaihpai Reservoir. There's some flowing water nearby, Kapalaau Stream * is a stream you can explore while you're here, and locations like Peacock Flat are tremendous to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Kawaihpai Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Camp Timberline. At Kawaihpai Reservoir throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 70's with temperatures at Kawaihpai Reservoir dipping down into the 50's during winter nights.
