if you have a chance, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Peacock Flat Trail.
Just can't get enough of Kawaihpai Reservoir. There's some flowing water nearby, Kapalaau Stream * is a stream you can explore while you're
here, and locations like Peacock Flat are tremendous to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Kawaihpai Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Camp Timberline. At Kawaihpai Reservoir
throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 70's with temperatures at Kawaihpai Reservoir dipping down into the 50's during winter nights.
