This lake is so wonderful. Hoai Beach is a beach near Kaupale Reservoir that you can visit, and Kaupale Reservoir is right by the Nualolo Trail. At Kaupale Reservoir you can see Kahuamoa; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hanalei. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kaupale Reservoir; Mhihi Waialae Trail is a good local trail, and       Ekaha is very near and is a tremendous spot to check out. An afternoon playing golf at Kukuiolono Golf is always a bliss, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Alakai Swamp Trail. Kaupale Reservoir is usually a reasonably dry spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most; June meanwhile is the driest month. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be.
