Kapena Pool is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. most rain; the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Booth Spring is an inspiring spot to take a look at while here, and a splendid location to pop by is Kalihi Valley.
During the warm days of summer at Kapena Pool
temperatures are mostly in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 70's; nighttime lows at Kapena Pool through the winter typically drop into the 60's. Camping is available at Camp
Timberline; there are plenty of folks from Honolulu here. While you're here at Kapena Pool, you could also visit scenic Alapena Pool, and dry warm beds await you at Pagoda Hotel.
