Taking a little spree to close by Honolulu Harbor is a pleasant idea, and Kalihi Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Timberline is a pleasant local campground. Hiking along the Castle Trail is brilliant fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a spot to stay Pacific Marina Inn is a brilliant choice; Puukapu can be made out from Kalihi Reservoir. Summertime       highs at Kalihi Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 70's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Kalihi Reservoir temperatures dip to the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. A good site in the neighborhood of Kalihi Reservoir is Kalihi Valley; if you're here and you like golf, you can visit Ala Wai Golf Course. Now, you may feel                  that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Kalihi Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Aston At The Executive Centre Hotel; a day at Kahanamoku Beach is time well spent. This lake is so wonderful. Alapena Pool is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; why not take a refreshing hike along the Halawa Trail. If you get bored of Kalihi Reservoir, you could also explore nearby Kapena Pool; there are plenty of people from Honolulu here at Kalihi Reservoir. Kunawai Spring is a gorgeous place to take a look at while you're at Kalihi Reservoir, and great water scenery is available at Kaplama Basin close to Kalihi Reservoir. During your stay at Kalihi Reservoir do stop at nearby Cresent Beach, and swing by Kahauiki Stream it's a glorious spot to explore. The high level of rain makes Kalihi Reservoir a quite wet site; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
