There's so much to do here at Kaheaka Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Timberline is a good site for that. Kaheaka Reservoir gets a typical amount of annual rain; January is the wettest month with most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. There are brilliant places to explore along  
   the Mokuleia Trail, and after a long day outdoors Makaha Resort is a good place to spend a night or two.
Summertime at Kaheaka Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 70's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Kaheaka Reservoir dip into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful.
