Take a hike on the Sacred Falls Trail, and some nearby water includes Kahana Iki Stream. At Kaelepulu Pond during the warm months highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 70's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 80's with temperatures at Kaelepulu Pond dipping down into the 60's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Kaelepulu Pond you'll almost certainly       meet some people from Honolulu; for you golfers we recommend close by Luana Hills Country Club. So much entertaining stuff to do at Kaelepulu Pond, so little time. Nuupia Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you came for an overnight stay Honolulu Koa Kampground is a tremendous place to camp. One of the best things about Kaelepulu Pond is its proximity to Kailua Beach; if you need a place to stay The Kahala Hotel and Resort is a pleasant choice.                  A good deal of rain falls at Kaelepulu Pond; November is when you get the most rain here, and September on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Condo Hotels Hawaii is a great site to get some rest; while here here do stop by nearby Kalama Beach. Just can't get enough of Kaelepulu Pond. Olomana is stunning and can be seen from Kaelepulu Pond; while you're here you have to take a look at Alla Point. The Halawa Trail offers hiking at its best; swamps don’t sound that good but Hamakua Marsh close to Kaelepulu Pond is quite good.
