All the water falling down from the sky makes Huilua Pond a wet location; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Huilua Pond do stop at close by Kanenelu Beach, and Huilua Pond is not the only place close by, pua Fishpond is a close by lake. This lake is so       wonderful. While you're here at Huilua Pond you can play some golf at Kahuku Golf Course Starter Manager; a glorious spot to camp here at Huilua Pond is Honolulu Koa Kampground. If you get bored of Huilua Pond, you could also stop at close by Mlii Pond; you are in close proximity to Kaaawa Point since you're here. Spend the day on the beach at Kaluanui Beach since you're here at Huilua Pond. For the period of the warm months, highs regularly are in the                  80's at Huilua Pond while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 70's with temperatures at Huilua Pond dipping down into the 60's through winter nights. You'll meet a lot of people from Honolulu here, and nearby you find the Castle Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Huilua Pond. Going for a hike on the Sacred Falls Trail is always a great adventure, and the peak of Crouching Lion can be distinguished from Huilua Pond.
