close by Sand Box Beach. This lake is so wonderful. You get a good sight of Puu Kolii from Hanakaoo Reservoir; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Kahului-Wailuku. Hanakaoo Reservoir is a wet location that
gets much precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is September.
