     You get a tremendous view of Puu Kolii from Hanakaoo Reservoir, and Kanapali Beach is a lovely beach to stop by. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Not far from Hanakaoo Reservoir, you'll hit upon Horner Reservoir which is a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Noelani Condominium Resort. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Kapalua Villas is a tremendous choice, and some of the water nearby  
   flows, like Amalu Stream.
Hanakaoo Reservoir is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes? Sure, Puukolii Reservoir is around here; a day at pretty Sand Box Beach near Hanakaoo Reservoir is a glorious thing to do. Summertime highs at Hanakaoo Reservoir typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
 
               High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 70's while the cold winter nights at Hanakaoo Reservoir are in the 50's.
This lake is so wonderful. The fine people of Kahului-Wailuku like to hang out close by, and stopping by Haleakala National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. A magnificent site to camp here at Hanakaoo Reservoir is Camp Olowalu, and nearby you come across Kealii Gulch which is a glorious place to visit.
