Hanakaoo Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Hanakaoo Reservoir. On a pretty day you can stop by Kanapali Beach right next door to Hanakaoo Reservoir, and if you get bored of Hanakaoo Reservoir you could also stop by close by Violet Lake. After a long day outdoors Kapalua Villas is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and time spent at Sand Box Beach is always fine. This lake is so wonderful.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Haleakala National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Kealii Gulch is a delightful spot to spend some time. All through the summer months highs here at Hanakaoo Reservoir get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Kolii is easily spotted from Hanakaoo Reservoir, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Kahului-Wailuku for sure.
Hanakaoo Reservoir is a reasonably wet place typically with a large amount of rainfall; January
is when you get the most rain here; September is the month with the least moisture. Noelani Condominium Resort is a splendid place to get some rest; it's a glorious idea to go to Amalu Stream. Puukolii Reservoir is a nearby lake that
you could have a look at; Hanakaoo Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Olowalu is a glorious local campground.
