This lake is so wonderful. The top of Kalua o Lapa is easily seen from Halua Pond, and if you've had enough of Halua Pond, Koieie Fishpond is nearby. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lower Trail, and beaches are delightful and Oneloa Beach is no exception. Halua Pond is great enough to spend more than       a day at, Camp Olowalu is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Polo Beach Club. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. Hiking along the Halemauu Trail is glorious fun, and if you came to camp Hosmer Grove Campground is a fine place to do that. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from Kahului-Wailuku here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Halua Pond you find Ahihi Bay, and one                  of the best things about this site is its proximity to Puu Olai Beach. Halua Pond is right by the Sliding Sands Trail, and if you need a place to stay Diamond Resort Hawaii is a delightful choice. All through the warmest time of the year at Halua Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 80's, and night lows in the 60's for Halua Pond.
