Be careful coming to Halekou Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. Davie Point is not far from Halekou Pond at all. If the weather is brilliant here at Halekou Pond, you can go for a hike along the Castle Trail,       and getting to Maunawili Stream from Halekou Pond is simple. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pagoda Hotel is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and if you want to hit the beach, Kuahine is in close proximity. The peak of Oneawa Hills can be seen from Halekou Pond, and Bay View Golf Park Golf Course is a golf course close by. Here at Halekou Pond there are plenty of folks from Honolulu; Oneawa Beach is quite nearby if you're                  in a beach type of mood. The high level of precipitation makes Halekou Pond a relatively wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is usually the driest month.
