Bay View Golf Park Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by, and Pali Kilo is an out of the ordinary thing to see if you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. You are close to Davie Point while you're here at Halekou Pond. After a long day outdoors Pagoda Hotel is a fine place to spend a night       or two; this is a splendid location in the shadow of the Oneawa Hills. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Kahala Hotel and Resort is a good choice, and if you're visiting from Honolulu, you won't be the only one. Going for a hike on the Halawa Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and nothing beats kicking back at Oneawa Beach. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Halekou Pond.                  Go for a hike on the Castle Trail, and one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Halekou Pond is Oneawa Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Maunawili Stream from Halekou Pond is simple; you can hit the beach if you want, Kuahine is practically right here. There's so much to do here at Halekou Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Honolulu Koa Kampground is a wonderful location for that, and do take a look at Nuupia Pond, it's a delightful lake. Summer at Halekou Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 70's, and winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Halekou Pond.
