Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Haiku Reservoir, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 70's, and overnight lows at Haiku Reservoir during the winter regularly fall into the 60's. East Kuiaha Gulch is a great site to discover, and the great people of Kahului-Wailuku like to hang out nearby. Haiku Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; most       of the rain falls through January, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. The Halemauu Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to Haiku Reservoir, and do stop by Pauwela Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. Near Haiku Reservoir you come across the Sliding Sands Trail which is a good hiking trail, and don't forget to take a look at Eleilei Bay * while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Pukalani                  Country Club; the panorama of Kauhikoa is pretty. Camping at Haiku Reservoir is great fun, Hosmer Grove Campground is a great local campground, and don't miss out on a trip to Haleakala National Park while you're here. Spreckelsville Beach is near Haiku Reservoir and is a charming beach to explore, and if you need a site to stay TropoHouse B&B is a wonderful choice. You definitely must like Haiku Reservoir.
