This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Kapaa here, and Palama Beach is a beach nearby that you can have a look at. A glorious close by hotel is Poipu Kai Resort; Hanalei is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. At Elima Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during January; June on the other hand is the driest. Playing golf is lots of fun at Kukuiolono Golf, of course you       could also go to Elua Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. Good hiking is available along the Nualolo Trail. If you're here, you might as well visit Kula Valley, and there are great locations to explore along the Mhihi Waialae Trail. The warmest time of the year at Elima Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 80's, and nighttime lows                  in the 60's for Elima Reservoir. On a beautiful day you acquire a sight of Ahua from Elima Reservoir; a short journey to Kaukiuki Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Alakai Swamp Trail, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Secret Beach. Just can't get enough of Elima Reservoir.
