A short spree to Kaimukanaka Falls is always worthwhile; hiking is a popular thing to do around Boiling Pots; Hilo Trail is a great local trail. Boiling Pots is a quite wet place mostly with a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many entertaining things to do at Boiling Pots, so little time. After a long day outdoors Uncle       Billys Hilo Bay is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and on a beautiful day you can visit Machida Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Hookelekele Stream is a good local stream. Lakes? Sure, Reservoir Number One is in the vicinity. Summer at Boiling Pots arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 70's with winter lows                  in the 60's overnight here at Boiling Pots. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Naniloa Country Club, and the Puu Oo Volcano Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You get a great panorama of Kupapau Hill from Boiling Pots; a day at beautiful Bakers Beach near Boiling Pots is a fine thing to do.
