If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Kukuiolono Golf, and Hoai Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Aepoalua Reservoir, for example Aepo Reservoir; on a pleasant day it's a splendid idea to spend the day at Beach House Beach. Through the summer months here at Aepoalua Reservoir,       high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 80's while Aepoalua Reservoir night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 60's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mhihi Waialae Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kapaa here. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Poipu Kai Resort is a splendid spot to get some rest, and                  naturally Lawai Stream flows through this vicinity. Lakes are such serene locations, why not stop by Kaupale Reservoir close to Aepoalua Reservoir; if you need a place to stay The Point at Poipu is a good choice. Hiking along the Nualolo Trail is glorious fun. Around Aepoalua Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January, and June is the month with the least moisture. The view of pretty Kahoano near Aepoalua Reservoir is delightful, and close by you come across Ekaha.
