This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Aaka Reservoir, for example Poopueo Reservoir, and on a glorious day it's a delightful idea to spend the day at Davidsons Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Nualolo Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Aston Waimea Plantation       Cottages is a good site to get some rest. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do close to Aaka Reservoir. Near Aaka Reservoir you come across the Alakai Swamp Trail which is a nice hiking trail; whitewater paddling is perfect on Hanalei. Aaka Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Kapaa, and the vista of delightful Manienieula is brilliant. Dry warm beds await you at The Point at Poipu, and a golf course nearby is Kukuiolono Golf.                  Through the long summer days at Aaka Reservoir highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 80's, and nighttime lows at Aaka Reservoir throughout the wintertime regularly sink into the 60's. The Mhihi Waialae Trail is a great hiking trail near Aaka Reservoir, and if you want to hit the beach, Glass Beach is around here.
