There's so much to do here at Youngblood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Talisman Campark is a good site for that, and hiking along the Scull Shoals Trail is good fun. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Youngblood Lake has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Madison; a lake close by is Brown Lake. Throughout the summer       at Youngblood Lake highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Youngblood Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. If the weather is great here at Youngblood Lake, you can go for a hike along the Falling Camp Trail, and Wingate by Wyndham Madison is a brilliant place to get some rest. Youngblood Lake mostly gets much precipitation;                  the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is September. You can take a little visit to Youngblood Dam while you're here at Youngblood Lake, and you can run the rapids of Apalachee River. A quick tour to Beaverdam Creek near Youngblood Lake is a nice idea, and going for a hike along the Mounds Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. If you came to camp Pine Lake RV Campground is a tremendous place to do that, and Youngblood Lake is a place with many visitors from Athens-Clarke County.
