There are fine places to discover along the Mounds Trail; Youngblood Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Talisman Campark is a fine place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Youngblood Lake is not far at all from Athens-Clarke County. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Youngblood Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Beaverdam Creek is near Youngblood Lake and is always a bliss to pop by; Robins Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. are some perfect whitewater spots on Apalachee River. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Youngblood Lake. Stay the night at Pine Lake RV Campground; do go to Brown Lake, it's a scenic lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Falling Camp Trail; Comfort Inn Madison is a great spot to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail is always a perfect adventure; Youngblood Dam is a picturesque site.
