This lake is so wonderful. Youngblood Lake is not far at all from Athens-Clarke County. For the duration of the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Youngblood Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; during the dark hours       in the wintertime at Youngblood Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. Beaverdam Creek is near Youngblood Lake and is always a bliss to pop by; Robins Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. Youngblood Lake is a quite wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is September. Dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham Madison / Lake Oconee Area, and there                  are some perfect whitewater spots on Apalachee River. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Youngblood Lake. Stay the night at Pine Lake RV Campground; do go to Brown Lake, it's a scenic lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Falling Camp Trail; Comfort Inn Madison is a great spot to get some rest.
