If you are traveling by, why not stop by Yoemans Lake. Yoemans Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yoemans Dam is not far at all from Yoemans Lake, and there are plenty of people from Cornelia here at Yoemans Lake. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are in fact plentiful here at Yoemans Lake. There's so much to do here at Yoemans Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Creek Grove Nudist is a tremendous site for that; you

| | can run the rapids of Chattahoochee River.
But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Amos Creek is a tremendous local stream, and Econo Lodge Helen is a good site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Bassinger Pond.

are tremendous spots to look at along the Whitly Gap Trail, and if you came to camp Sleepy Hollow Campground is a great spot to do that. On a delightful day you acquire a view of Alec Mountain from Yoemans Lake, and nearby you locate
the Raven Cliff Falls Trail which is a great hiking trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Yoemans Lake, and the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Yoemans Lake.
Yoemans Lake gets much water; through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Having a delightful time in the
Blue Ridge Mountains is simple. There's whitewater on Mud Creek for all you adrenaline people, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Cornelia.
