A visit to Woody Lake Dam is always a good idea. Do explore Eagles Nest Lake close to Woody Lake Dam, it's a beautiful lake, and Two wheels Only Motorcycle Resort is a pleasant campground nearby. You might want to pay a visit to Gooch Gap since you're here at Woody Lake Dam, and there's tremendous hiking along the DeSoto Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. for people who don’t like to have fun. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Woody Lake near Woody Lake Dam, and Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a good place to get some rest. At Woody Lake Dam during the summer highs are in the 80's while
overnight lows are typically in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Woody Lake Dam temperatures dip to the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful.
There's whitewater on Cooper Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega. Woody Lake Dam is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Woody Lake Dam is a rather wet place
commonly with lots of rain; most of the rain falls all through March while October is generally the driest month.
