Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cooper Creek, and SUPER 8 Dahlonega GA is a glorious site to get some rest. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a great time. The Black Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best; Woody Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Woody Gap Campground is a great local

| | campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the DeSoto Falls Trail; a delightful site to camp here at Woody Lake is Dockery Lake Campground. For the period of the warm months here at Woody Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows through the winter for Woody Lake tend to be in the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy | |

all the enjoyable things at Woody Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Blood Mountain Creek; a nice place is Grassy Gap. Woody Lake is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of precipitation;
of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Woody Lake. If you need a location to stay Econo Lodge
Dahlonega is a tremendous choice; lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Dockery Lake. You have to unquestionably go to Tunnel Cove if you're here at Woody Lake, and Woody Lake is right by the Duncan Ridge Trail.
Woody Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The top of Abe Mountain is easily observed from Woody Lake; Woody Lake Dam is a great lake nearby. Visit Burnett Creek since you're here at Woody Lake, and Woody Lake Dam has nice water scenery.
