A spree to Wofford Shoals is always fun; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Nancy Town River. Through the months of summer at Wise Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Wise Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do       are beyond doubt plentiful here at Wise Lake. Lake Russell Campground is a nice campground here; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Cornelia for sure. The high level of rain makes Wise Lake a rather wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most; October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Cornelia-Days Inn, and at Wise Lake you can spot Whitehouse                  Hill. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hudson River, and some of the water nearby flows, like Rocky Branch. Stay the night at Hazel Creek RV Park, and Comfort Inn Cornelia is a glorious place to get some rest.
