Winder Reservoir Dam is pretty and it's in the neighborhood of Winder Reservoir, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Alcovy River. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mulligan's Par-3 Golf Course is nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Apalachee River. If you came for an overnight stay Fort Yargo State Park is a fine location to camp. For the duration of the summertime

| | months at Winder Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Winder Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 20's.

two; Simmeron Park is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Winder; lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Marbury Lake.

even more amusing stuff to do here at Winder Reservoir. At Winder Reservoir you always meet someone from Gainesville, and there are other locations here than Winder Reservoir, for example Masseys Lake.
