Going for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail is always a great adventure, and a nice site for whitewater paddling is Big Sandy Creek. Williamson Lake is a quite wet place commonly with much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Little Towaliga River; dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn And Suites Macon / Plantation Dr. This lake is so wonderful.
