Williamson Lake is a quite wet place commonly with much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Little Towaliga River; dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn And Suites Macon / Plantation Dr. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Williamson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a glorious place for that, and there are brilliant places to explore along the Kinnard Horse Trail. Lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Lamon Lake in the neighborhood of Williamson Lake, and if you have time, Ocmulgee National Monument is a national park worth a visit. Williamson Lake is a place with many visitors from Macon, and there is                  a splendid hiking trail close by called the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Mceacherns Lake in close proximity to Williamson Lake is a magnificent spot to check out; if you need a place to stay Sleep Inn Macon is a great choice.
