Many people like to go to Williamson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Tobesofkee Recreation Area is always a delightful experience, and do take a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Williamson Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls throughout March, and the driest month of the year is October. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Macon; if you came to camp Church Campground is a magnificent

Throughout the months of summer at Williamson Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while Williamson Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. While you're here at Williamson Lake you can take a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail; Baymont Inn Macon is a pleasant site to get some rest. So much | |

enjoyable stuff to do at Williamson Lake, so little time. Big Sandy Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Ocmulgee River Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you
don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Towaliga River, and you'll probably meet some people from Macon here. Ocmulgee National Monument is a fine national park; golf can be played at Oak Haven Golf Club.
