Williams Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. On a glorious day at Williams Lake you can take a hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail; you can take a little spree to Williams Lake Dam while you're here at Williams Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area close to Williams Lake has to offer. Here at Williams Lake there are plenty of folks from Macon, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling

| | is Big Sandy Creek. It's a fine idea to check out Briar Branch, it's in the vicinity of Williams Lake, and Comfort Inn Forsyth is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Monument is one of the destinations that are good to stop at close by. If you came to camp L and D RV Park is a good place to do that, and close by you discover the Kinnard Horse Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Summertime
highs at Williams Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Williams Lake temperatures
descend to the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Forsyth. There's so much to do here at Williams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Forsyth Koa Kampground is a great site for that. All the water falling down
from the sky makes Williams Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month of the year is October.
