Don't leave Williams Lake without first going for a hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail, and why not stop by nearby Briar Branch if you're here at Williams Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at Williams Lake get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter       this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Williams Lake through the winter frequently plunge into the 30's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Williams Lake. Not far from Williams Lake you get some great water scenery at Williams Lake Dam, and if you're looking for a pleasant tour, Ocmulgee National Monument is reasonably near. The high level of rain makes Williams Lake a quite wet place; the month with                  most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. Hicks Lake is a perfect lake near Williams Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Williams Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is a wonderful spot for that; there's delightful hiking along the Kinnard Horse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Little Towaliga River near Williams Lake, and a nice close by hotel is Comfort Inn Forsyth. People from Macon love to come to Williams Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail.
