This lake is so wonderful. The vistas at Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail will blow your mind. Be careful coming to Williams Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Sweetwater Creek State Park is a great local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Annewakee       River. Lakes are good; Clark Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Williams Lake; do pop by Dry Creek since you're here at Williams Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Greystone Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Suburban Extended Stay West Six Flags is a tremendous choice. Arrowhead Campground is a brilliant campground nearby; Comfort Inn at Six Flags is a splendid place to get some                  rest. Lots of rainfall falls at Williams Lake; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Groovers Lake Dam next to Williams Lake; as expected, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Groovers Lake is a lake around here. For the duration of the days of summer at Williams Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
