For the duration of the warm days of summer at Williams Lake highs are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Williams Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sweetwater Creek, and you're sure to stumble upon some good       people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. Camping at Williams Lake is fine fun, Atlanta West Campgrounds is a fine local campground, and Suburban Extended Stay West Six Flags is a great spot to get some rest. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Williams Lake is a nice place to camp, Arrowhead Campground is a nice place, and Clark Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Lithia Springs is a splendid place                  to spend a night or two, and as expected Dry Creek is a delightful stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Groovers Lake Dam next to Williams Lake, and if you're looking for a great visit, Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is pretty near. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Annewakee River, and an afternoon playing golf at Greystone Golf Course is always a delight.
