The beauty of Wilkinsons Pond is reason enough to stop by. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Fort Gordon, and a fine place to camp here at Wilkinsons Pond is Heritage Mobile Home Community. Going for a hike on the Horn Creek Hiking Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Just can't get enough of Wilkinsons Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Savannah River, and Wilkinsons Pond is not far at all from Augusta-Richmond

Wilkinsons Pond is a pretty wet place commonly with a large amount of precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Rosedale Pond, and Forest Hills Golf Club is a golf course close by. Wilkinsons Pond is not the only place close by, Lake Olmstead is a close by lake, and Wilkinsons Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day | |

After a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn Augusta is a great place to spend a night or two, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Rosedale Lake
Dam right next door to Wilkinsons Pond. All through the summer months at Wilkinsons Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Wilkinsons Pond dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
