This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Wilkinsons Pond from Augusta-Richmond County, you won't be the only one, and there's whitewater on Savannah River for all you adrenaline junkies. If the weather is pleasant here at Wilkinsons Pond, you can go for a hike along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. Summertime highs       at Wilkinsons Pond mostly tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Wilkinsons Pond dip into the 30's. Wilkinsons Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain; November is when it's the driest.
