There's so much to do here at Wilkinsons Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Heritage Mobile Home Community is a great place for that, and if you need a site to stay Red Carpet Inn Augusta is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Kissing Bower Lake is one of those close by; the wonderful people of Augusta-Richmond County like to hang out nearby. This is a great neighborhood       for folks who like lakes. Rosebud Lake is a lake in close proximity, and you can stay the night at Flynn's Inn Camping Village. There's some exciting stuff to make out at Rosedale Lake Dam right next door to Wilkinsons Pond; you can run the rapids of Savannah River. Lots of rainfall falls at Wilkinsons Pond; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month of the year is November. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wilkinsons Pond; Horn Creek                  Hiking Trail is a glorious local trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Wilkinsons Pond with night lows in the 60's.
