This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Cumming. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Mashburn Mill Lake since you're here at Wilkie; it's close by, and there's always Wilkie Dam to have a look at right next door to Wilkie. While you're here at Wilkie you can take a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail, and there are some       good whitewater spots on Amicalola Creek. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Wilkie. If time allows, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to; an afternoon playing golf at Windermere Golf Club 1 is always a bliss. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wilkie a wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. If you come at the right                  time of year, Settingdown Creek offers some perfect whitewater. There's so much to do here at Wilkie that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lakes Park is a pleasant place for that. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATLANTA-CUMMING is a good site to spend a night or two, and Wilkie is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sawnee Campground is a good local campground. During the summer at Wilkie highs are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
