During the warmest time of the year here at Wilkerson Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; night lows at Wilkerson Lake during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 30's. Wilkerson Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Heritage Mobile Home Community is a great local campground, and       after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Martinez is a delightful location to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wilkerson Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is March; November meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Wilkerson Lake has it all. Don't leave Wilkerson Lake without first going for a hike along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail, and there are some pleasant whitewater                  spots on Savannah River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wilkerson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Byron Mobile Home and Camper is a perfect location for that; a delightful lake like Signal Lake is a pleasant place to stop at. You'll meet a lot of folks from Augusta-Richmond County here, and do visit Maxwell Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
