All the water falling down from the sky makes Wildwood Lake a wet site; the month with most of the rain is March; September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Arrowhead Campground is always a great experience, and after a long day outdoors Atlanta/Six Flags Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer months highs here at       Wildwood Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wildwood Lake. Camping is available at Camp Truitt-fulton, and Sweetwater Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Wildwood Lake, too glorious to be true. The great people of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like                  to hang out nearby, and lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Vandivers Lake. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Wolf Creek Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn And Suites Atlanta Six Flags, and there are other spots here than Wildwood Lake, for example Cowart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. North Utoy Creek is a perfect place to check out.
