Plantation Park is a delightful local campground, and Americas Best Value Inn-Cairo is a perfect location to get some rest. Parkers Mill Creek is a tremendous local stream, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Executive Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. All the water falling       down from the sky makes Wight Lake South a wet location; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. At Wight Lake South during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Wight Lake South                  are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
