A visit to Whitners Lake is always a good idea. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Whitners Lake is excellent! Dockery Lake is a perfect lake close to Whitners Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Dahlonega. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay R-Ranch in the Mountains is a good place to camp, and since you're here you can take a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail. Whitners

| | Lake is a pretty wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
Whitners Lake Dam has nice water scenery and it's close to Whitners Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a great place to get some rest. On a great day at Whitners Lake you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cedar House Yurt Cabins, | |

and going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Moose Creek is a fine place to check out,
and Three Sisters Mountain is simple to spot from Whitners Lake. Throughout the summer at Whitners Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs
in the 40's while Whitners Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Whitners Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Chestatee River. Lakes? Sure, Ricketts Lake is nearby. A wonderful location to check out right next door to Whitners Lake is Stonepile Gap, and lots of folks from Gainesville come here.
