Whitners Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Whitners Lake you hit upon Stonepile Gap which is a perfect location to check out, and don't leave Whitners Lake without first going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. You definitely ought to love the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pura Vida USA is a great       place to get some rest, and of course Moose Creek flows through this vicinity. So many exciting things to do here at Whitners Lake, too good to be true. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Chestatee River. There's brilliant hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail, and a gorgeous lake like Rodgers Lake is a brilliant location to take a look at. Good hiking                  is available along the DeSoto Falls Trail; at Whitners Lake you can catch a sight of Three Sisters Mountain. Not far from Whitners Lake you obtain some glorious water scenery at Whitners Lake Dam, and you can stay the night at Water Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
