Georgia has many beautiful lakes and Whitehead Lake is one of them. There are other places here than Whitehead Lake, for example Seymours Lake; why not camp at River's Edge if you're here at Whitehead Lake. Whitehead Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Falling Camp Trail.

| | Bridge State Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Skull Shoal Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Elberton-Days Inn is a great choice, and there's some flowing water close by, Rocky Shoals Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. Payne Lake is a delightful lake near Whitehead Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Royston.

through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime
temperatures at Whitehead Lake descend into the 20's. Whitehead Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Clouds Creek.
