I've lived less than a couple of miles from this lake and I didn't even know it existed until today while looking at google maps of the area around my house. I wonder how many people know about it? I wonder if it's on private property.

The beauty of White Oak Lake attracts many people from all around. Throughout the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at White Oak Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for White Oak Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Rottenwood Creek, and Cardinal Lake Dam has splendid water scenery.

White Oak Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Atlanta Marietta RV Resort is a brilliant local campground; if you need a site to stay Sun Suites of Smyrna Vinings I-285 is a fine choice. to camp here for a while, Brookwood Rv Resort Park is a perfect site for that.
A journey to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is recommended, and White Oak Lake is not the only site nearby, Cindys Lake is a nearby lake.
The high level of rainfall makes White Oak Lake a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls through March, and October is when it's the driest.
