A lake close by is Nash Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Potato Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. At White Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at White Lake are in the 30's. You just can't picture the amount       of outdoors amusing things the area near White Lake has to offer. White Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Country Hearth Inn Barnesville is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Thomaston for sure. All the water falling down from the sky makes White Lake a wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but                  if it's for you then we recommend Little Towaliga River, and a brilliant place to camp here at White Lake is High Falls Campground.
