If you need a place to stay Lamar Inn and Suites is a nice choice; camping is available at Heart of Georgia RV Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes White Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Jameson Inn Thomaston is a delightful       place to get some rest, and why not pop by White Dam while you're here. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Why not camp at High Falls Campground since you're here at White Lake, and as expected, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Nash Lake is a lake close at hand. During the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at White Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the winter                  the highs are generally in the 50's, and overnight lows at White Lake through the wintertime usually fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Little Towaliga River offers some tremendous whitewater.
