Whipple Lake is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Whipple Lake. For the       duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Whipple Lake are in the 30's. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Whipple Lake is unbeatable!. This lake is so wonderful. Ponderosa Campgrounds is a delightful local campground, and if you're popping by from Fort Valley, you won't be the only one.
