A delightful place to camp here at Wheeler Lake is The Rock Camp Ground; if you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Creekside Golf & Country Club. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wheeler Lake a wet location; throughout March this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the       cool stuff at Wheeler Lake. Days Inn Dallas is a splendid spot to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is fine on Tanyard Branch. Camping is available at Old Hi-way 41 Campground Number 3; not far from Wheeler Lake you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Wheeler Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes. Cole Lake is a lake close by; Lane Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking                  out. At Wheeler Lake you always meet someone from Cedartown. Summertime highs at Wheeler Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
