Throughout the long summer days at Wheatley Lake North highs are commonly in the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 50's, and night lows through the wintertime for Wheatley Lake North tend to be in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to       enjoy this place. A glorious place to camp here at Wheatley Lake North is Cordele KOA. This is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lower Wheatley Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and hey, Collins Branch is a splendid local stream. The high level of rainfall makes Wheatley Lake North a relatively wet location; the month with most of the rain is January; October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Wheatley Lake North Dam is worth                  a visit if you're here, and a pleasant close by hotel is Travelodge Cordele.
