Whatley Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Throughout the long summer days at Whatley Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Whatley Lake are in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Whatley Lake a wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is

Minors Millpond is a good lake close to Whatley Lake, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Fort Valley. If you need a location to stay Fort Valley Days Inn And Suites is a great choice, and a delightful location to camp here at Whatley Lake is Ponderosa Campgrounds.
