West Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; through March this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to West Lake Dam if you're here at West Lake, and while you're here, you could also go to beautiful West Lake. So much fun stuff to do at West Lake,       so little time. West Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Family Leisure Resort is a magnificent local campground; if you came to camp Pine Log Campground is a brilliant place to do that. There's some flowing water close by, Ballard Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and a brilliant close by hotel is Quality Inn Adairsville. Drift down the rapids of Talking Rock Creek in a kayak, and you'll probably meet some folks from                  Calhoun here. During the warm days of summer here at West Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
